This year 300 homelss men, women and children sat down to a Christmas meal of turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables at the Kitchen. The meal of 25 turkeys was prepared by Kitchen volunteers at the Elk's Lodge. Thanks go out to the Elk's Lodge for the use of your facilities.
Ginny Malbon, a long-time contributor to St. Francis Catholic Kitchen, was in charge of presents. There were 350 care packages organized by Valley Churches United and she put together over 250 bags with Christmas cards and basic toiletries. As always, thank you Ginny for your tireless support.
